BIODROGA CALM DOWN Phyto Tonic

BIODROGA CALM DOWN Phyto Tonic soothes and balances skin, removing residue with 5-fold Phyto Complex, betaine, and prebiotics.

Active Ingredients

• Prebiotics

The skin’s barrier depends on its microbiome, a community of bacteria and micro organisms living on the skin. This balance is vital for healthy skin. When disrupted, this Tonic can lead to issues like dryness or sensitivity.

To help restore this balance, you can feed the microbiome with prebiotics—”good food.” For example, alpha-glucan oligosaccharides come from plant sugars like sucrose and maltose. These sugars are broken down by enzymes into compounds that nourish and protect the skin.

• Betaine

Betaine, a compound from the amino acid glycine, helps the skin hold moisture. As a result, this tonic boosts hydration and strengthens the skin’s natural barrier.

Moreover, beets are naturally rich in betaine. The process used to extract it from beet sugar molasses is eco-friendly, turning a byproduct into a useful ingredient for skincare.

Moreover, each herb reflects centuries of knowledge, seamlessly contributing to a balanced formula that promotes glowing and healthy skin.
